Winston Churchill was born on November 30, 1874. In 1894, he graduated from the Royal Military College in Sandhurst. In 1895, his father passed away at the age of 45. On September 12, 1908, Winston Churchill marries Clementine Hozier. Churchill becomes Prime Minister in May of 1940. In December of 1941, Churchill visits the White House to discuss the war strategy with FDR. On February 4, 1945, Churchill attends the Yalta Conference. His Iron Curtain speech was delivered on March 5, 1946. He is reelected as Prime Minister in October of 1951. On December 10, 1953 he won the Nobel Prize for Literature. In 1955 he retired from being Prime Minister. On January 24, 1965, he passed away at the age of 90 following two strokes.
