Henry executed many people who refused to take the oath required by the First Succession Act, and those who denied he was the Supreme Head of the Church of England, under the Act of Supremacy of 1534.

He also executed those who attempted to rise up against him, such as, Robert Aske and his followers.

He also executed 2 of his wives, Anne Boleyn and Catherine Howard for treason, and adultery. It is very likely Anne Boleyn was not guilty, at all of the charges though, Catherine was guilty of the charges.
