MOSTLY buffalo hide. Most of the clothes were made from animals. Such as buffalo, perhaps elk. That would be the plains people such as the Comanche. Buffalo did not roam through Georgia and the Carolinas. Elk is found too far north. Clothing was made out of home made material that was woven. We did/do have deer though as far as large animals available for our use.
