Harold was quick to take decisions. he made many mistakes and lead him to bad luck. one of them were to wait for a while instead of just assuming!And just to top of all the bad luck in mid battle Williams archers started firing up penertrating Harolds wall ain't that just dandy.

Harold was unlucky because he had to walk to Stamford bridge and also his men's were tired and exhausted, (which shows that they weren't ready to fight). There was also a fewer soldiers (because of the battle at Stamford Bridge) and it wasn't fair because the Normans had 2000 men on horsebacks.

he had a very tied army because they had marched all the way from Stanford bridge, some of his men had left to look after their crops because it was harvest time and Harold got shot in the eye by William's men and that's when some of his men ran away.
