There are several positive and negative aspects of the Industrial Revolution. Namely, it allowed people to stop working in primarily agricultural fields, and allowed them to move to the cities and work in factories, which typically paid well. A negative aspect was that there were no labor laws, so small children were made to work the same hours as adults, doing dangerous jobs.

The industrial revolution led to a time when people had time for more then just eking a living out of the soil. It led to ordinary people having an education, and as a result of the reduction in the cost of manufacture an increased standard of living. The negatives of industrialisation are that the power that is wielded by giant industry's is leading to a situation where pollution is becoming more and more difficult to control. And the worlds economic system has taken on an expansionary model that is rapidly leading to the depletion of the earths Natural Resources including even simple drinking water, as well as over population and a constant threat of war and terrorist activity.

What was the first country to experience the industrial revolution?

Well countries don't JOIN the industrial revolution, different countries have different industrial revolutions however the first one apparently happened in Great Britain in the late 18th and early 19th century. The changes then spread throughout Europe and North America, eventually the world (well some places might not have e.g. tribal islands or small countries that felt they didn't need or want to). The changes occurred through each countries own industrial revolution although they were most likely to have follow in the footsteps of other countries after seeing the positives of it.

Positives and negatives of christopher Columbus trips?

I think the positive is that they found new lands (for them), i.e. America to explore. The negatives are his participation in slavery, the spreading of disease, the dislocation and death of hundreds of thousands of American Indians. The hundreds of lies we were taught growing up about how Columbus was the first to discover America and that relations between Columbus and "Native" Americans was a great symbiotic relationship... Sorry, could not think of too many positives because there are not many.
