What are the advantages and disadvantages of test-tube babies?

Advantages are that you don't have to have the baby growing inside you for almost a year, and you don't have to force it out of your snatch at birth. Disadvantages are that you need a series of ever-bigger test tubes which are really expensive (although if you can afford a baby you must be rolling in spare cash anyway!), and they're easy to break, especially as you have to keep them out of direct sunlight
