Isis is not really anything that resembles an animal or human. BY THE WAY It was believed that all Egyptian gods inhabited different humans, which also means that they cannot be defined as mother and child. These gods would have entered several different humans of all different relations. For example, if two gods/goddesses shared their body with two humans, they could be "mother and child" 'biologically;' however, if, say, the two inhabited humans at this time were brother and sister, the god and goddess would now be considered to be both a mother and child relationship as well as a brother and sister relationship, which most people now would call incest, but it really isn't... I realize this probably seems like a lot to take in at once, so read over it again.

Isis is identified with the kite, as she is sometimes portrayed with wings. Isis however is rarely depicted in a fully animal form.
