That's not really a valid question because ANY coin can be used in ANY vending machine that's calibrated to accept it.
Dollar coins were introduced to help reduce the huge number of $1 bills being printed every year. However the Anthony design failed for a number of reasons, primarily because its design was flawed (ugly, too much like a quarter, etc.). In addition, the vending machine industry had been lobbying for a $1 coin so their machines didn't need bill-acceptors, but when the coin was introduced very few machines were ever converted to accept them so consumers couldn't use the coin as intended. Finally the government refused to stop printing $1 bills so the dollar coin was relegated to niche uses such as bus and trolley fareboxes.
No. Billions of them sit in drawers and bank vaults. They also are mixed in with modern dollar coins in vending machines.
No such coin exists, all 1978 dollars are Eisenhower dollars. Susan B Anthony dollars would not be minted until 1979.
Please check again and post a new question. Anthony dollars were minted in 1979-81 and 1999. No US $1 coins were minted from 1936 to 1970 inclusive.
I'm assuming you mean the Sacajawea Dollar which is minted in gold-coloured brass (Susan B Anthony dollars were last minted in 1999) it is a common coin struck in brass and not gold and is worth $1.
If it's dated 2000 and golden in color, then that's a Sacagawea dollar, not Susan B. Anthony. SBA dollars are similar in appearance as dimes, quarters, and half dollars.

There was a USA dollar coin with Susan B. Anthony's face on it. It was minted at the end of the 1970's,
1979
1979
Susan B Anthony was on a US dollar coin minted from 1979 to 1981 and also in 1999.

That would be the Susan B. Anthony small dollar, minted in 1979-81, and again in 1999. It was highly unpopular, as it was easily confused with the quarter.
Susan B. Anthony is not on any U.S. $2 bill $1 coins with her picture were minted for circulation in 1979, 1980, and 1999

$1, it is not a rare coin, many, many, many were minted.
