No. The Western Front was the most important aspect of WWI and whoever won here was going to win the war. It was basically where France and the UK (and later the US) and Germany were fighting, the three strongest and most important countries of WWI. If Germany won, France would've most likely been captured and the UK would've probably dropped out and the Central Powers would've won WWI. However, the Allies pulled out the win.
