of course actually enter before U.S it was the first with France and Poland

- yeah the Clue is in the name "World War" and the world war was started when Britain and France Threatened Germany so they wouldn't Invade Poland but Germany didn't listen and Britain and France declared war on Germany and as soon as Britain entered the World probably stopped cause if you look at how powerful countries are and were there hasn't been any one more powerful than Britain American the worlds only super power at he moment but Britain was far beyond Super it was a hyper power and it most likely still would be if other countries joined WW2 at the same time or America didn't try to make a profit from the war, While the other countries were fighting for a just cause American were selling weapons to any one that would buy them except Russia and with a massively increased price tag leaving everyone in debt, Britain only finished paying off the debt in 2006 some countries refused to pay the only reason they ended up paying was because Britain pretty much told them to be honourable and uphold their promises, also without Britain a lot of countries that are independent now would be under Russian control Stalin wouldn't stop the American president tried talking to him but he was to weak ( and dying) and was unable to convince Stalin to stop so it was up to Churchill who then convinced Stalin to give up the countries so basically not only was Britain in WW2 without us the World wouldn't be the same. i know people wont agree with this probably because they believe Hollywood but the war was nothing like that American weren't Heroes they cold heartedly dropped 2 atomic bombs on Japan killing over 100,000 people not soldier's civilians -

just found a seen a quote now from a American General about WW2 "Without the Great Empire ( the great empire is the British empire) the World would have fallen."

England was an Allied power. One of the 'Big Three', England entered the war after Germany invaded Poland. England was never invaded, but was bombed and was the site of the aerial-fought Battle of Britain.
