∙ 9y agoNapoleon was defeated 18 June 1815 at the Battle of Waterloo, marking the end of his 100 day come-back. His defeat at the hands Seventh Coalition, (an Anglo-allied army led by the Duke of Wellington, and a Prussian army under Gen Gebhard von-Blucher) led to the Treaty of Fontainebleau that enabled coalition forces to enter France and restore the previously-deposed French King Louis XV111to the throne and returning Napoleon to exile (from where he died in 1821).
