There are 3 major ones, the creation of an alphabet later adopted by the Greeks and developed into many modern alphabets. They found and navigated the North Star. Last but not least, they created the first see through glass. But as personal "acheivements" or "medals" to be very proud of, the Phoenicians actually managed to get as far out of the Mediterranean as to actually sail around Africa, starting from the red Sea, and back into the Mediterranean through the Strait of Gibraltar. For their time, it was the same accomplishment as going out to space.

Hope this helped.

The Phoenicians created an alphabet which used 22 constonants and 0 vowels. Since this alphabet contained no vowels it makes it much harder to decipher what tablets say today. Another accomplishment made by the Phoenicians is the invention of "Tyrian Purple". This "Tyrian Purple" is a purple dye that comes from certain sea snails. They considered this dye royal and used it on clothes only for the higher class people. Another accomplishment is that of the dicovery of the North Star. Hope this helped :)
