Immediate family is usually considered to include the members of your nuclear family and perhaps someone else closely related like a parent or a child who no longer lives with you. Immediate family would be parents and siblings, and perhaps grandparents, when you are young. When you are older, immediate family would be your spouse and children, and perhaps your parents or grandchildren.

Your first cousin twice removed would be the grandchild of your first cousin or the first cousin of your grandparent. That is not particularly immediate.
