The women were looked down at as inferior. They did all the field work and household work. They had to do whatever their husband's request was without protest. If a female even looked at another woman they husband had all rights to kill her because they were allowed to take revenge and other matters in their own hands or else they would be considered as weak. the males on the other hand were treated the absolute opposite of the females and they only did hunting and took part in warfare
