a. Make some other pieces similar to the walls that would go around the top of the towers.
b. Also have another ceiling piece to be placed near the top.
2. Secure all of your pieces together in the correct configuration with masking tape.
3. Find a bowl with steep sides (at least enough room to fill half way with a quart of water).
4. Now slowly mix in flour until you get a thick slurry.
a. It is perfect when you can dip your fingers into it and it almost drips off of your hand in "sheets".
5. Cut the newspaper into strips and just slop it on.
a. The purpose is to provide a surface to hid imperfections in the cardboard and tape and also a clean place to paint.
6. Just get a strip of news paper, plunge it into the slurry, and run it in between your fingers to get rid of excess.
7. Let it dry at least over night.
8. Use some oil-based paint to make it look nice.
9. To make some 3D features as windows or doors by layering a thick layer of paper mache on
a. Then using a chop stick or something to make indentations in the design you want (also useful to make the brick work).
