No, the only sickness she had, was from being hit by a brick and falling asleep randomly.
She died from pneumonia and old age in a nursing home in Auburn, NY. She was about 93 (having been a slave, her exact date of birth was never recorded).
she was sent to the market by her master and a slave went to the village without permission. the master of the slave ordered harriet to hold down the slave but harriet refused and let the slave run by her. angry, the master picked up a 2 pound weight and threw it. it struck harriet in the forehead and knocked her unconsious. for the rest of her life she was struck with sleeping spells where she fell asleep any time or anywhere.

HARRIET
Harriet Tubman never fully recovered from that accident, and often times during her perilous journeys harboring runaways to freedom she would get dizzy spells and come close to passing out. That was a result from being hit in the head with the metal iron. However, she ranaway to freedom herself about a month after the accident, before the bruising and swelling went down. She didn't let that diminish her determination, and returned over twenty times to bring other slaves to freedom.
