Baltimore Maryland. The fort stood up to British Naval bombardment, and because it was there, the British Navy could not land British soldiers on Baltimore Maryland. The British Army tried to outflank Fort McHenry, but, they were defeated on land, so a water attack was the only other way to attack Baltimore. When Fort McHenry was stand standing, Flag Flying, the British Navy sailed away.
George Washington captured Boston by doing absolutely nothing. He placed his army above the city. The British did not know which route he would follow for his attack. So one night they got on boats and sailed away. He also used subterfuge. He had some cannon aimed at the city. He had even more fake cannon carved from wood aimed at the city. The British thought he had far more artillery than he actually possessed.
Henry Hudson was an English sailor who sailed for English merchants and later for the Dutch East India company. Thus he sailed at different times under the British and the Dutch flags.

Yes, I suppose you could say it was. Dunkirk displayed British nationalism when every British ship in the Channel sailed to the beaches of Dunkirk to rescuse the French soldiers there. They transported over 300,000 men to England who became the Free France movement.
Henry Hudson did sail under the British flag. In 1607 and 1608 he sailed for the British flag. In 1609 he sailed for the Dutch flag. His final voyages were in 1610 and 1611 when he sailed for the British flag again.
He simply sailed away when the British weren't looking.
