Revere was paid 30 schillings to ride to Concord to warn if the British regulars were on the move towards the town from Charlestown. He never made it since he was arrested early in his ride of 20 miles.
Paul Reveres ride was to warn Concord that the red coats are coming.
Paul Revere made a midnight ride to warn the people in Lexington and Concord, though he only got word to Lexington. He met up with two other men, a man named William Dawes and a doctor named Samuel Prescot. All three were captured by a British roadblock. Prescot and Dawes escaped. Dawes was thrown from his horse and unable to continue the ride. Only Prescot was able to warn the colonists. What many people do not know is that they acually shouted "the regulars are out" or "the redcoats are coming" not " the British are coming".

Dr. Samuel Prescott finished the ride to Concord.

it is called "bad little falls" because of the rough ride down the waterfall if you canoe it. So calling it "bad little falls" was a good idea to warn people of the rough ride
To warn the colonists that the British soldiers were coming.
