N. I. - many people call it Ulster, but this is technically incorrect as a third of Ulster is in the Republic
No. The UK consists of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. In many respects Northern Ireland has its own government.
Currently it is Archbishop Seán Brady.
They have already been driven out of the Republic. As for the other part of the island, the short answer is it is entirely up to the people of Northern Ireland. Under the conditions of the Anglo-Irish treaty N. Ireland will remain a part of the United Kingdom until the majority of the people of the six counties decide otherwise. The British government has stated several times that they have niether an economic or security interest in N. Ireland and they are free to separate from the the crown whenever they want. The matter has been voted on on several occasions but the majority of the people of N. Ireland have decided in favor of union with Britian. Once a vote is held and the majority favors separation then the British will remove themselves from N. Ireland. The odds of this happening anytime soon, however, are not very good. Even though their numbers seem to be dropping, Unionists still make up 58% of the Northern Ireland population.
