Patrick Henry died before the revolution was really under way, but IF he had been alive he wouldn't have thought about slavery much I don't think. Slavery was not an issue for the time. Everyone owned slaves from Washington to Jefferson. They really didn't see anything wrong with it. When they wrote "all men are created equal" they meant all white men are created equal. There was no concern about slaves or women, both were the underclass. In fact, when the government was finally set up the population of the colonies couldn't vote for President because the founding fathers didn't feel that they could.
