Go N 1 screen, W till you cross the bridge the W 1 more screen, S 1 screen then E 1 screen.
You should now see a cave with 8 Brown statues that will come alive if you touch them,and a Tektite.

Before the stroy line in Ocarina of Time took place, a huge war took place between the three species: Zora, Goron, and Hylian. Link's mom was badly injured in one of the battles, and, with her last strengths, carried baby link to the Deku Tree and pleaded that the Deku Tree take care of Link, So the Deku Tree complied and raised Link. So Link did once have a mom, but she never appears in any of the games. Link does, though, have a grandmother in The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker.
