When fighting the Japanese the America found that they wouldn't surrender easily so to help speed up the end of the war and to save American lives, America drop two atomic bombs on two major cites, and when Japan seen the powers of bombs they surrounded.

The bombs were dropped on civilian cities, killing tens of thousands of innocent civilians

Japan had more SNAFUs than the US therefore allowing the US to take advantage of those mistakes and beat the japanese. (A snafu is and acronym for "Situation Normal All Fouled Up" which meant somthing went wrong) Also the fact that the japanses thought they were invincible so they kept sending in small numbers of troops which kept getting killed by the allies so the japanese should have sent in more troops to take out the US
