In the WWI Portugal entred the war along with his ally England,and fought many wars.
In the WWII Portugal under the Dictatorship of Salazar remained Neutral but in 1943 accepet that all planes of the U.S to resuplie in azores(that was in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean) and than to pass over portugal to east europe.
So yes Portugal gave many things to the world.But now we are only watching others to thier part now.we must concentrat in growing again, and we will remain in History as a great small nation who never let anyone take over us.
