Neither too hot nor too cold. Otherwise, it's cold in the North, especially inside the country and warm in the South. The Center is a region of transition. In the North it's common to snow. The northern regions can be pretty cold with temperatures around -15ºC sometimes, during the heaviest days. In the highest mountains it can snow from October to April. In the South, it's rare to go below 0ºC. The summer is hot inside the country and in the south, and moderate in the coastal regions of north, because of the sea. Inside the country the temperatures can go up to 40 sometimes. However, some refreshing days are usual in this season, with refreshing nights.

P.S: The coldest part of Portugal is called Montalegre, which has almost similar climate to Central Europe.

Portugal is situated on the SouthWest part of the Iberian Peninsula. The country's south side faces the opening to the mediterranean sea, and to the country's west there is the Atlantic Ocean (of course, oceans > seas)
