Yes! in fact many North Koreans have escaped through China and into other nations. Usually they must find a way into the South Korean or U.S. embassy in China in order to finally be free however because China has a strict anti-North Korean immigrant policy and will deport the individual back to North Korea. If the person is sent back to North Korea they will be sent into one of the many North Korean labor camps.
Very few North Korean's have escaped to South Korea through the DMZ but it has happened.
China helped the North Koreans and NATO helped the South Koreans.
Depends, which one are you talking about, the recent one or the Korean war one? Well the Korean war one was because Kim Jong wanted the South Korea to reunite with North Korea with North Korea as the leader and the recent bombardment of South Korea's island was because north Korea said they felt "threatened" when the south Koreans did a live military drill near the borders
No, the UN, (including the US), and South Korea were fighting North Korea and China, (who had some help from the Soviet Union).
Westerners can go to North Korea, usually through Chinese-Run Tourism companies. However, American and Israeli citizens should be warned that North Korea does not maintain relations with either the US or Israel, so it will be very difficult to secure the release of an arrested person or get consular services in North Korea. It is illegal under North Korean Law for South Koreans or Japanese citizens to go to North Korea. (It is also illegal for South Koreans to go to North Korea under South Korean Law.)
North Korea was supported by the USSR and China and was opposed by the United Nations Forces including South Korea.
It appeared the South Koreans were more fearful of the North Koreans.
China helped the North Koreans and NATO helped the South Koreans.
Um, North Koreans.
North Koreans what else? Comrades?
not much. Because north korea dont let people to go out from north korea. If they try they are executed
To North Koreans kinda but the Koreans can't be trusted with what Kim Jomg Il has done to his people.(Kim Jong Il is basically the owner of North Korea.)
A better question is..."why do North Koreans love tyranny?".
China and Russia are two countries that supported the North Koreans.
No. North Koreans live under autocratic leadership.

Enter South Korea and drive the North Koreans back into North Korea.
Depends on which Korea. South Koreans have the highest average IQ in the world according to OCED. North Korea, however, probably has one of the lowest. South Koreans who have embraced democracy has come so much further than North Korea. Even look at their height comparison, South Koreans are the tallest Asians at 175cm (5'9), but North Koreans are the shortest at 166cm (5'5).
