Unfortunately they are not always able to eat the healthiest foods. Many times they eat what ever they can get form a local food bank or pantry and make do. The exception are people who use food stamps.
Commons foods are: Peanut butter, hotdogs, beans, bologna, spaghetti, day old bread, past due and overripe fruits vegetables they can obtain from community "farm wagons" or food pantries, while some can grow their own food.
