(. I belive that there are two sides to this. On one hand dropping a nuclear bomb destoryed the entire city, crippled many people and later killed may others with radiation sickness. But on the other hand it ended WW2, and prevented the U.S. from having to attempt a mainland attack which would have been a extremely bloody and deadly campaign that would kill thousands and thousands of troops and civalians.
