Columbus didnt kill the Tainos. He left his men with the Tainos at Hispaniola then went back to Spain by himself. When he returned, everyone was dead and he wasnt there to kill the Tainos so he is innocent.
because he enslaved native Indians and made them work for him, he sent the natives over to Spain to work for them he murdered them all basically and he wiped out a whole population and culture and that's the sum of it with more details though. He was a very bad man. oh and he forced them all to go into Christianity through a oath that they didn't understand and then they got punished for it and the work was under bad conditions and they were put in the cargo hold as in for property not human beings and the beat, tortured, or killed the natives if they couldn't keep up with the work
he discovered America. Christopher Columbus was a flawed hero. Columbus was a villain who turned into a hero, because he was the first human to discover America the natives lived there, but never discovered it.
Indeed he was. His first order of business in the land that he claimed to have discovered, was to set up a foothold for the crown. He did bring smallpox to the natives when he arrived killing hundreds of them. But the most brutal thing Chris Columbus ever did was after the fabled "Thanksgiving" After this now renowned holiday, the very next morning Columbus began enslaving the native race. They were thought of as ingenious, and savages. Not at all on the same level as the wonderful British at the time. Columbus often offered children as rape slaves to his crew members as well. Many girls around the age of 10 - 12 were often used in this practice, so it is fair to say that he was also a pedophile. All in all, Christopher Columbus is NOT the hero we all were taught he was in grade school. He was a very dark man, with his ambitions set on the domination of people he thought of as lower life forms. Why we celebrate a holiday in his honor is beyond me. He didn't even step foot on the land we now call America.
yes
Christopher Columbus treated the natives (Taino Indians) very poorly. Columbus killed many Taino people. He also ordered every Taino at the age 14 and older to find him gold. The poor Tainos looked, and looked but couldn't find enough gold. For not finding enough gold, Columbus punished the Tainos, and cut off their hands, and make them be slaves. Christopher Columbus was a very mean and scary person to the Taino Indians. The Tainos thought of Columbus as a villain coming to their land.
It's controversial, but you could make the point that he was a villain by the fact that he took lots of slaves of the natives.

No- because Riddler is not who Christopher Nolan had in mind. Everything about him being the villain is false.
