yes possibly, but only if you had an extremely large amount of money, but there might not be any for sale most of them are in museums or owned by charities that restore them to fly at air shows. it would also depend one whether you want to buy a small plane or a giant bomber.
but anyway most if not all charities or museums would no sell any of them because they are so precious and some are rare now.

I am an old World War II pilot from the 15th Air Force in Italy. The Lancaster was a 1942 United Kingdom bomber. I have a picture of it on a 3 X 6 picture of World War II Aircraft.
World War 2 would have had a stronger air force. The air plane was barely 10 years old and had very little payload. It was many decades before the airplane was capable of being a key part of the combat forces.
In America you could ba any age to fly a plane but you had to be atleast 18 to join the army some 16 year olds lied about their age to get to fly a plane.
The most common way to fly in 2014 is to buy plane tickets and get on a plane. If you are legally old enough, with lessons you can learn to fly a plane yourself.
