In ancient Rome, certain slaves were trained to fight other slaves in an arena, often to the death. Such fights were put on as a public spectacle , often celebrate a religious festival. Such slaves were called gladiators.
The Christians did not fight gladiators. Gladiators were professional athletes and there would be no point in them fighting (mostly) unskilled Christians. The closest to an actual gladiatorial fight would be when a condemned man, either a Christian or any other criminal, was given a sword and made to fight an opponent in the arena. If the condemned man won, another fighter was sent out against him, and this was repeated until the first man was killed.
Probably weapons because without weapons early man would have starved to death...
Bob Moses organized the training in Mississippi.
they fought for glory. In addition to the thrill of the arena and the cheers of the crowd, they also fought for the money. Gladiators, even those who were slaves, kept a share of their prize money. A slave or prisoner could be fighting to be able to buy his freedom, while a free man could be fighting to get himself out of debt.
He was a gladiator.
A minute man.
A minute man.
There was no actual age limit on being a gladiator. What a man had to have was size. A scrawny teenager would certainly be no match for a hefty thirty year old. When a man filled out, say, around his early twenties, then he would be allowed to fight in the arena, although as a teen he could have been training with his weapons.
rambo hands down
its nearby oviline city go to the beach you sould see a door thingy when that exited man is gone go in then your there :)
The cap has a shield and knows how to fight without weapons but most of the moves he uses are probably eligal. Iron man has high tech weapons and particle-ion reactors but he cant handle a fight without his suite. Plus the lasers are eligal.so.. i would say Cap.
No: life has never been peaceful. Before weapons ? The earliest histories suggest man used tools, could use a stick to fight with or throw rocks....
Various armor and shields. - plate armor - chainmail - leather armor - scale armor - brigandine (cloth armor) - several types of shields from wood or iron The target was a protection from arrows and weapons in the fight man against man.

Nuclear weapons (both Hydrogen & atomic) made total wars unacceptable; it was referred to as MAD during the 1960s. MAD=Mutually Assured Destruction. Therefore...since man couldn't fight total wars anymore; he had to fight limited wars (limited to conventional weapons).
