DO NOT TAKE ULTRAM/TRAMADOL WHILE ON, OR COMING OFF OF METHADONE! You can, and probably will have a Grand Mal Seizure (Which is Very Bad)! How do I know this? It happened to me 3 times! I finally found out from my Methadone clinic that you can't mix the 2, or take Ultram while coming off of Methadone. It is a HORRIBLE experience! Please heed my advice! You can DIE!
Of all opiates, morphine is the longest and worst withdrawal...some people I have known just go back on painkillers or heroin to stop the methadone then kick
ULTRAM IS A NON-NARCOTIC pain killer, that is synthietic and acts on the CNS to relieve pain. You can just cut back and then stop using it. HOWEVER: There is a concern that if you are already addicted to a narcotic, YOU MAY expereience withdrawl symptoms. Simply, SLOWLY decrease your mg intake, then soon you will be off of it. <<<ADR>>>
Stop using Methadone.
no methadone is a opiote blocker methadone will attache it self to the opiot recepter in the brain which will block the effects of the drug which is why methadone is usually used to treat drug addics to stop abuseing opiots thoe methadone is great for the treatment of pain and withdrawl from opiots metadone was originaly discovered dering ww2 to help German soldiers to fight fatigue to stay awake and the sever cold temperatures. it wasnt inlell later on that its medical benefits was used to treat heroin addicts to stop using, and one of the reasons the percocet will have no effect is methadone is is easily 100% more stonger/potent than any opiot known even morpine.
You get VERY sick like the worst flu you have ever had in your life. You can go to a clinic and get Methadone and it will keep you from getting sick.
yes
No. Methadone is a very mild opiate in terms of its "high", that is why it is chosen by drug clinics to detox from opiates. As long as you are on a dose of methadone that is appropriate, you will not have to stop work or feel any major effects from methadone.
Yes, methadone is used to treat withdrawals from Oxycontin and other opiate drugs.
stop using meth :)
Tramadol withdrawl can be helped by taking smaller doses until you can stop. Tapering is your best bet. If you are addicted to it then you can take other opiates to stop the withdrawl, but you will have to go through it eventually. It depends how long you have been on the Tramadol. The withdrawl will subside after 4 days and you will be ok in a week or so. Depends on how long and how much you have been on. Tramadol withdrawl causes a nasty depression and leg pains. You can get through it if you stay busy. You will need to workout and walk. Listen to soft music and uplifting or self help CDs. It might sound corny, but when you are in the darkest part of Tramadol withdrawl you will see how it helps. I do not suggest you take anything other than maybe a mild xanax to help you sleep for 1-3 nights. No ambien and no caffiene. Lots of water and takes some amino acids and a multiple. Find out what causes you to take the Tramadol. What is your trigger? A different opiate will stop your withdrawl, but you will need at least a weeks worth and dont forget, you run the risk of getting hooked on that too.
Yes, plain and simple. Methadone will also cause dependance and withdrawal for the baby. But it is not recommended that you stop methadone if you get pregnant and are are on it already as withdrawal symptoms on the mother can harm the fetus.
You can, but only if your doctor will prescribe it for you.
