The usual dosage of Skelaxin, a skeletal muscle relaxant, is 800 mg 3 - 4 times a day for adults and children 13 years old and older. It is not used on children under the age of 13. If you took 2400 mg, this is 3 times the recommended dosage, so you need to contact a pharmacist, local ER doctor, your physician, or 911 who can connect you with the poison control hotline number. Also, if you took any sort of sedative, painkiller or other type of depressant medication, you are at greater risk. So if you took that amount of the med, call one of the above immediately.
