The standard height for a wheelchair accessible vanity is a maximum of 34 inches to the top surface of the vanity/sink area. However, an equally critical measurement is the under height clearance which should be 29 inches with a foot plate clearance of 9 inches. There isn't a standard height - it's really a range between 17 - 20 inches. Before buying, make sure to measure so you know what size that would work best for your height and vanity.
Since vanity height may vary the actual height of the mirror will vary. The standard for electricians to mount vanity lights is 84". You'll want your mirror height to end to be a few inches below that and the mirror to start right about the backslpash (if this is not a framed mirror).

It is possible to convert an antique dresser to a vanity. you just need to have a carpenter to cut part of the drawers to make room for plumbing and find a piece of counter top to protect the wood.
If these are mounted above a vanity, adjust the mirror height so it doesn't cut off the head of the tallest person in home and is still convenient for putting on makeup.
