Well it depends... If you have never taken Methadone before then it is possible you will feel a slight to moderate "high" or "buzz" or you may not even feel any high at all. 10mg of methadone is a very small amount so in my personal opinion I wouldnt really expect to get really high. When I first took methadone I was given 30mg at a clinic and I was VERY high, but it did take almost 1-2 hours to take effect and the high lasted almost 2 days. I had an oxy-80 a day habit and didnt take anything for one whole day, then got my 30mg dose of methadone.
very similar to any other opiate only less intense. You will itch and feel very good and relaxed, but you will not get a major "rush" or that great euphoric feeling you get after taking some other opiates. Methadone also lasts a LOT longer than most other opiate pills. It has a half life of up to 59 hours and can give effects for around 24 hours, while most others like percocet or vicodin are lucky to last 12 hours.
If 10mg methadone is an ok dose for you, then go for it my friend (:
dont do it... xanex is a benzo. XANEX AND METHADONE have a very high potential for a DEADLY combination, as do all benzos w methadone. talk to your dr about mixing the others.
This is the backwards way of asking the question. Aprx. 60mg of oxycodone, equals 10mg of methadone.
10mg of methadone is equal to 80 mg of oxycontin
About $5 per 10mg on the "street"
No, the clearance time of methadone is about 24 hours.
10mg of Methadone is equivalent to 5micrograms of Fetanyl. Fetanyl is tremendously stronger than Methadone. Fetanyl is measured in micrograms, Methadone in mg.... hope this helped...
Methadone comes in 10mg tablets, 40mg tablets, and it also comes in liquid form (cherry and clear).
Hardly anything.
The answer is yes AND no. Yes because it has a much longer half-life than hydrocodone (it lasts much longer and stays in the sytem longer), but also no because hydrocodone has a stronger euphoric effect. You get more of a "high" from hydrocodone than methadone. But to answer your specific question, is not really possible because they are very different and effect people differently. If you have never taken methadone before and do not have a tolerance for opiates, that a methadone 10mg would be stronger and would get you "higher", but for people with more tolerance a vicodin 10mg(which is hydrocodone) would get you more of a "high". Problem is Methadone will stop giving the euphoric effect within a week, while you will get high off 10mg Vicodin's for maybe a month or 2 before building tolerance and needing more.
i just did its awesome i took 10, 10mg methadone and chewed one op 80 its been an hour and i feel it coming on
No. Even though they are both opiates, they are completely different and the mg's are different. Methadone has a much longer half-life than oxy-codone(percocet), so therefore it is much stronger. They both also have different euphoric effects or feelings. Oxy-codone produces a much more intense "high" than methadone, but methadone stays in the system for much longer and is usually used for people who are getting off opiates like Oxycodone.
