Citolapram is an antidepressant medication. The brand name you might have seen is Celexa. This is one of the newer SSRI or Selective Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitor which helps your brain restore proper levels of serotonin to help with those low moods.

As far as i know 5mg is a pretty low dose, most people like myself start on 10mg and then increase to 20mg after a short while (10 days for me). As to whether its addictive, i havent heard anything along these lines...hope this helps a little
