It can get your eyes dried out for a while. Doing it once or twice is okay , but try not to .
You can but you shouldn't. To stay healthy your eyes need access to fresh air. Contact lenses are designed to let air through but they should be removed daily to give your eyes a chance to rest. When your eyes are shut and you have contacts on, you get less air to your eyes. If you accidentally fall asleep wearing contacts, and everybody does, remove them when you wake up, clean them, and then let your eyes rest for a few hours before wearing them again. I suppose that if you were an emergency worker who had to wake up and be able to see instantly, you could put your contacts in just before sleeping. In this case you should be careful to limit the total number of hours that you wear contacts in any day.
If you always sleep with your lenses in you are more at risk of developing a bacterial eye infection.

I've done this before! So, if you sleep with your contacts in, you usually wake up to dry, itchy, red eyes. I watch tv before i go to sleep every night, and usually 2 times a week i fall asleep with them in! This is a bad habit. Anyways, if your like me, you usually wake up in the middle of the night with itchy and dry eyes! It burns your eye, and trust me it does hurt! What to do: As soon as you've woken up, your vision will be blurry; immediately drop 1 or two drops of eye solution into each eye. Wait a few minutes, as the contacts will soften. DO NOT TRY AND TAKE THEM OUT WITHOUT DOING THIS STEP. IT MAY CAUSE SERIOUS OR PERMANENT DAMAGE TO YOUR CORNIA. After you have done this, gently remove each contact. Either throw them away, or let them soak in eye solution for about 4-6 hours before wearing again. Wash your eyes out once more, and apply cold or heat packs to them for 10 minutes. (which ever feels better on your eyes.) After about 10 minutes, the stinging will fade and your vision will be as it usually is without contacts. I suggest wearing you glasses for the rest of that day, so your sore eyes can rest. I hope this helped you! I've been there done that! :]
Contacts are suppose to be taken out every night before you sleep so you can clean them. Why do you think that there are so many brands of contact lens solution whether it is rub/no rub if you are not required to clean them every night? Also there are disposables contacts too (for those who donesn't like the idea of cleaning)
If you can sleep in them, the contact lens manufacturers would have created something different without the hassle.
Happened to me the over night, well I'm not sure if it matters with monthly or two weekly contacts, but mine are just daily ones, so it didn't really matter about the actuall lenses but my eyes felt fine. There is also sleepers which is contacts you can sleep with that you just take out to clean once a day :)
You can but it can cause irritation. only sleep in contacts that are made to stay in for one month straight or whatever time.
Yes. It's fine if it happens once or twice but you really shouldn't . It deprives your eyes of oxygen. Just don't do it every night.
Your eyes will slowly correct themselves but in your sleep the contacts will splinter and make you blind. Have fun u moron! :) Your eyes will slowly correct themselves but in your sleep the contacts will splinter and make you blind. Have fun u moron! :)
When a NC and NO contacts are not working the NC will not open and the NO will not close.
Sleeping with contacts on increases the risk of eye infections, corneal ulcers, and other eye complications. This is because contacts restrict the flow of oxygen to the eyes, providing a breeding ground for bacteria. It is best to remove contacts before sleeping to maintain good ocular health.
protein build up
no not as long as you clean it and take it off before you go to sleep unless you buy the ones that you are able to sleep with
If the relay contacts are in series with a connected load, then the load will energize.
Your heart beats slowly when you sleep.
You should use your contacts when you're tired of using glasses. You shouldn't wear them to sleep, of course. And don't go into a pool/ don't shower with them on.
you will mess up your sleep cycle
Many people fall asleep in contacts once in a while, it just shouldn't be a habit
