There are many types. Most are white in color. The main types are usually in 10mg's and one is small and round with a line in the middle on one side and then a "54" and a "142" below it. There are also other circular white methadone pills, but with them you can't get it wrong because it actually says "methadone" on the pill and the MG it is LOL.
They are green and you should be able to scratch the green to expose white, there is a number (80) on one side and three letters (CDN) on the other. Most of all scratch it to make sure the green comes off, the green coating is just a slow release wax of some sort.

If you are taking a colored methadone, it is likely either juice from the clinic, or a sugar mixture for flavoring because methadone is very bad tasting. Methadone will taste bad even with strong juice mixed in.
