For me it is that every lcd screen I look at shows as black or blank or possibly rainbow colors, The liquid crystal displays work with a polarizing filter to black-out illuminated pixels, that's why polarized sunglasses don't work well with them.
I have also noticed the effect with tinted windows, same reason.
