Is it safe to take gabapentin and methadone together?

yeah its perfectly fine to take together, moniter central nervous system and breathing as both medications are CNS depressants. i take 75 mgs of methadone once daily in the mourning and 2400 mgs of gabapentin a day divided evenly in 3 equal doses (800mgs per dose). i had alot of problems before when i only was taking the methadone alone but once my doctor added the meurontin ive had a sagnifigant amount of pain releif and i find that the methadone seems to last longer and there is no longer ups and downs that MMT often can happen. and dont forget methadone is a very potent opiod, just because it doesnt cause euphoria and produce a high like other opiods can doesnt mean its not working.
