No, they are both synthetic but the pain relief is not the same. They are both long lasting pain relievers but the Methadone is less expensive and My understanding is not as effective for severe pain. I take Duragesic (Name Brand Fentanyl) 100mcg patch every 48 hours it does help with the pain but I sweat bad! Don't expect a high it is just for long term pain relief. If you do not have insurance it is expensive and the Generic did not work for me. I do not like the fact that they are synthetic, I felt more comfortable with natural opiates but I built up a tolerance.
Can you mix methadone with fentanyl
200 mcg of fentanyl is the equivalent of 400 milligrams methadone
yes
100 micro grams of fentanyl is stronger than the 85 mg of methadone.
No, Fentanyl will show up as an opiate and methadone will only show up as methadone because it is synthetic and requires its own test to detect it.
YOU cannot use tramadol in combination with methadone. It is an opiate antagonist which if you are taking methadone can send you into instant severe withdrawl. I do not have the answer for methadone and fentanyl combination but do not use the tramadol methadone combination. If you do or have you are in for a very very scary experience. There are many pain meds you cannot mix with methadone. Take it from a life long methadone patient who has experienced what it is like to mix an opiate antagonist with methadone........Do not try it............................
Using methadone and fentanyl at the same time can cause dizziness, drowsiness, and difficulty concentrating. Always talk to your doctor before taking multiple medications to find the right dosage for your specific case.
Feels good if you've got the tolerance for it... But fentanyl in the right dose works WELL all by itself.
If you mean fentanyl, then yes you would get high but it is a lethal combination. Fentanyl is 100x stronger than morphine and usually used in cancer patients. I don't suggest mixing the two drugs.
Drugs such as opium, morphine, heroin, codeine, hydrocodone, oxycodone, fentanyl, and methadone.
it depends on the dosage of methadone but the combo of thetwo is very deadly but if done right could be a very good high!! If you are in a methadone program, fentanyl is one drug that doesn't show per say. If you wear it, eat it, or smoke it, it won't show up as a regular opiate as it is synthetic based and for whatever reason is confused with alcohol. That's why they always ask you when you pee if you have had anything to drink - the fentanyl and alcohol show as the same. So.... if you had reported that you didn't have anything to drink that day they will then classify it as a dirty sample. If you have taken fentanyl just make sure you tell them you had a couple of drinks that day or late the night before. From experience, you will show as clean.
Yes, it is the same.
