Yes, this is possible. But rare/unlikely. It depends on how severe the patients opiate allergy is. Point to prove it can happen. My girlfriend is allergic to codeine, she gets a skin rash and the worst itch possible all over the body. She was prescribed vicodin by her dentist after wisdom teeth surgery and he did not have her allergy to codeine in her patient file. She doesn't have any clue that vicodin is an opiate nor the codeine. I call her on my lunch break that day to see how everything went. She tells me... Good and he gave me some pills for the pain. I asked. What!! (Knowing her allergy). She said don't worry they didnt give me Tylenol #3 they gave me vicodin and its working fine i took it almost 6 hours ago. So there you go. Codeine which is much weaker than hydrocodone and derived from the same main ingrediant as all synthetic opiates. Hope this helps.. if not i can better explain i guess if needed.
im allergic to morphine and even tho i hydrocodone(vicodin) and the sorts metabolize into morphine in the liver i can still take it or oxycodone(percocet) also the medicine hydromophone ( dilaudid) is good for heavy pain and is what hospitals give to patients allergic to morphine.
if your allergic to vicoden can you take percocet?
Most probably. However, there are subtle differences that may allow you to take codeine. There are other opioids that you may be able to take. Hydrocodone (Vicodin) and oxycodone (Percocet) may work for you. You might also consider tramadol which is totally synthetic. Good Luck.
codiene will have no effect if you are taking morphine - morphine in value exceeds morphine by 1/1000
Yeah of course, real ecstasy doesn't have morphine in it!
ALOT of morphine
Oxycodone
no
YES, definitely. Because the tests test for Morphine. Oxycodone turns to morphine when metabolised, Avinza is just straight Morphine.
No, Oxycodone is a synthetic form of Morphine/Codeine base.
which is stronger - hydrocodone/acetaminophen 5-325 - oxycodone/acetaminophen-5-325 or hydromorphone 4mg
No, both are analgesic.. but they're not "equivalent" in efficiency.. oxycodone, at the same dosage, is twice more powerful than morphine. 10 mg morphine = 5 mg oxycodone.
