3 days Depending on the type of test used. Strip, spectro, gas. The sensitivity and accuracy ot the test will vary greatly. Strip test ( used by probation, parole, and some Methadone clinics) are by far the least accurate and sensitive. If you are looking to pass a strip test although you may be "dirty" there are number of things you can do. Methods such as using masking agents ( drinks sold online or at head shops,) using Niacin is something often used by Military personal to "speed up" the metabolic process. Also simply drinking lots of water combined with vinegar to shut down the kidneys is a common tactic. If your are trying to defeat a Spectro-analysis or "gas" lab test it is a completely different story. There is little you can do to fool these highly sensitive tests besides perhaps using fake urine, "the Wizzanator." These tests, usually used by work places and the government test not for the actual chemical which leaves the system relatively quickly, 24-72hrs. Rather is searches for the metabolic remnants of the drug which stay in the system for much longer. due to the half-life of the drug. Which can be anywhere from 6-27 hrs. keep in mind that for a drug to be undetectable by these tests at least 5 half-lives need to have occurred; up to 5.6 days. This does not take into account other VERY important factors which Must be taken into account. Things such as Age, Weight, physical condition, liver health, frequency of use, dosage, activity levels, stress levels, and water intake greatly affect the amount of time xanax or any other benzo will stay in your system. In short, if you are worried about passing a drug test. get informed about what you're up against and be prepared. If you're a daily user you can possibly be "dirty" for up to 6 weeks... though most likely you can be undetectable within 3-7 days.

Many factors weigh in detecting the cocaine in urine. When you screen urine for the cocaine, you are actually measuring benzoylecgonine, which is a metabolite of cocaine.
