Embeda is an extended-release formulation of morphine (with a sequestered core of naltrexone). All pharmaceutical products stay in your system for 5 times the time it takes to reduce the amount of drug in your body by half.

For Embeda this is 29 hours -so it will take 5-6 days for all of the morphine to be out of your system.

Embeda is a combination of morphine and naltrexone. Morphine will typically test positive in urine for 2-4 days after last use; towards the longer end of that scale for chronic use as opposed to a one-time dosage.

Naltrexone has been reported as testing positive on the opiate screening panel, and may last longer (a week or so).

Embeda is a rather poor choice for a drug of abuse, because naltrexone blocks a lot of the euphoric feelings that lead to opiate abuse. Assuming it's been prescribed to you for chronic pain, just reveal your use to the screener.
