Typically Hydrocodone expires one year after the fill date. It begins to lose its potency after that.
The previous person to answer this question assumed that you're a drug addict. I, however, am not as judgy, and assume that you have an old prescription and was wondering if it was viable for a new illness (as in, random migraine headache that Advil won't touch, and you found an old script from when you had your wisdom teeth taken out).
it doesn't really matter. the effects MAY be weakened, but its not like you're going to have an adverse affect or something. they tell people its dangerous to take expired meds because in some cases it is, when meds expire they are no longer as effective, so if someone that needs say, blood pressure pills, took expired ones, they wouldn't get the full benefit from it and that could put their health in danger. but pills aren't like meats or dairy in the way that when it goes expires it can really make you sick. so aside from maybe being weaker, depending on how long it's been expired (if its like, 3 years past the expiration date its probably gonna be weaker. 3 months, there won't be a difference), its perfectly fine to take.
2 weeks
You can take vitamins after the expiration date. They are normally safe to take. However, I wouldn't take them so long after they already expired.
. How long it takes for hydrocodone to get out of a person's urine, depends on the amount last taken. It can 3-7 days to get it out completely.
It is not recommended to take Mucines DM after its expiration date. Most medicines have a long shelf life, but they become ineffective after the expiration date.
Please take it as soon as your doctor says/allows.
You can take them at the same time, so you don't need to wait.
how long after the expiration date should i not take aspirin
You should not take cefuroxime axetil after the expiration date. Taking it when it has expired could be dangerous. Throw away any unused medication after the expiration date.
Hydrocodone will stay in the bloodstream for 2 -4 days.
2 days 3 tops!
One year.
As with ALL medications, there is an EXPIRATION DATE, so YES it can go bad and should not be used past the expiration date. I forget what the exact percentage is, but liquid hydrocodone also has alcohol (not rubbing alcohol) as an ingredient.
