That is very rude to say to an individual that wants to get off of an addictive drug!

And furthermore you cant just stop taking a benzo, all kinds of bad things can happen such as seziures and central nervious system issues not to mention depression and possible thoughts of suicide.

I have been in these shoes more that once and I can tell you first hand its not easy to just go cold turkey. besides it's dangerious.

I have been addicted to Xanax 2 times before and I can honestly tell you it's nothing nice to go through. Both times I did it with valuim, 10mg. pills take 2 each day for 2 days and then only 1 a day till you're done, keep a few on hand in case you need them to sleep, insomnia is the main side effect from xanax.

A Good way to get off of 2mg Xanax Bars is to Slowly decrease the amount that you take every 2 weeks so you wont suffer from any withdrawals.

I was taking 1mg, Four times a day for 5 Years = 4mg per day

Here is the method that worked for me:

1mg, Three times a day for 2 weeks = 3mg per day

1mg, Two times a day for 2 weeks = 2mg per day

0.5mg, Three times a day for 2 weeks = 1.5mg per day

0.5mg, Two times a day for 2 weeks = 1mg per day

NOTE: At this point, I used 0.5mg Xanax Tablets so I could break them in half to make 0.25mg pieces.

0.25mg, Three times a day for 2 weeks = 0.75mg per day

0.25mg, Two times a day for 2 weeks = 0.5mg per day

0.25mg, Once per day for 2 or 3 weeks = 0.25mg per day

At this point, I was able to completely stop without having any withdrawals.

depending on your health insurance it CAN be pricey at first. I got mine in a breeze, all you have to do is talk to a psychiatrist about your anxiety.

when i was talking to my dr i mentioned things like claustrophobia, and how i always felt people were judging me which would send me into an extreme panic attack.

If you are just getting is for recreational, good luck. these drs are not idiots. so if you do not really have anxiety... be convincing.

also go look at how much some people have to take to get a high, that is insane and a perfect way to die extremely young. I get 1 mg taken 3 times a day... and when i do not need them i do not take them, read up on addictions. there are plently other anti anxiety drugs that are not addiciting--- im not so sure they mess you up thoug
