As soon as the smoke comes in contact with the air, it usually disrupts the THC and makes it rendered useless, however to be sure that one does not get caught in a drug test, it is wise to wait the required amount of time roughly 10-20 days if irregular user, if however, you do come in contact with it quite a lot, maybe you should wait the required amount of time for a regular user, about 1-3 months. It's your call on how you want to go about it... By the way if it is a saliva test you will be fine in about an hour or two as, stated before, "As soon as the smoke comes in contact with the air, it usually disrupts the THC and makes it rendered useless"
