The baby gets all the same amounts of what's in ur body .the thing is ur baby is small and has more of the caffeine in its system so it can cause a lot of complications such as increased heart rate,trouble sleeping,lots of movement (more than normal) increased body fluids a lot I would say limit ur caffeine to about eight oz a day
