Xanax -----Alprazolam, also known under the trade names Xanax (not to be confused with Zantac), Xanor, Alprax, and Niravam, is a short-acting drug of the benzodiazepine class. It is primarily used to treat moderate to severe anxiety disorders (e.g., social anxiety disorder) and panic attacks, and is used as an adjunctive treatment for anxiety associated with moderate depression.

Zantac -----Ranitidine hydrochloride (INN) (pronounced /rəˈnɪtɨdiːn/) is a histamine H2-receptor antagonist that inhibits stomach acid production. It is commonly used in treatment of peptic ulcer disease (PUD) and gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD). Ranitidine is also used alongside fexofenadine and other antihistamines for the treatment of skin conditions such as hives. Ranitidine HCl is marketed under the brand name Zinetac or Zantac

I don't see why not. I am prescribed Xanax and Prilosec, which is similar to Zantac, and I take aspirin regularly, an NSAID similar to ibuprofen. Just don't take the Ibuprofen and Zantac at the same time, wait about an hour in between. The Zantac will neutralize stomach acid and make the ibuprofen less effective.
