Can you take nurofen and diclofenac?

YES you can.

I was proscribed to use Diclofenac while I was having a GOUT Attack, but it did not help me, so I called a pharmacist and he told me that I can use Naproxin as a pain killer.

No, they are both in the same class of drugs - NSAID's. You can take either of them with paracetamol though.

I have taken the combination for 5 years no problem. I also take OMEPRAZOLE daily. No bleeding or pain
