Ummm, you should go to the ER
So, so. Give her Tylenol. If does not subside take 2 ER.
Acetaminophen (Tylenol) passes though the liver, while Ibuprofen (Motrin) is passed through your kidneys. You can take your dosage (based on your weight ) for either medications at the same time safely. As a PA in the pediatric ER we do tell parents that they can give their child BOTH Tylenol and Motrin to help fight a bad fever. We like to have them have some overlap time because then the fever is covered (Take Tylenol 1st and 2 hours later take Motrin). Most of the time we just suggest straight Motrin (more than Tylenol) because the overlap can be confusing and their is a higher risk of Tylenol overdose than with Motrin. Remember Asprin (Acetylsalicylic acid) is different than Motrin/Advil (Ibuprofen) and Tylenol (Acetaminphen) and should NOT be given to children because it can cause Reyes Syndrome.
ibuprofen, happy pills, kickers, Er... The above person is obviously taking something stronger than Tylenol. Ibuprofen is a totally different drug. And why would plain Tylenol be called a happy pill or a kicker.
Yes. Tylenol can have harmful effects on the liver when used in excessive quantities or when combined with alcohol or another acetaminophen-containing compound that overloads the ability of the liver to conjugate and excrete toxic byproducts. However, different mechanisms are used to clear Tylenol and metoprolol, so they can be used together without resulting in hepatotoxicity or altered serum levels of metoprolol.
I am not sure about Prozac but celexa works well with it.
You can take hydrocodone with penicillin. ER doctors will lots of times prescribe them together for a tooth ache
small and er? maybe small and er? maybe
Ultram is a narcotic that is used to treat moderate to severe pain. Mobic is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug that is used to treat arthritis. Research has shown that there are no negative interactions between these two drugs however, before you take Ultram and Mobic together, you should consult your doctor for medical advice.
